Wow! Thank you to all the people who found my little blog today, thanks to Tonya. I feel so lucky to have joined this great group of bloggers and blog stalkers! I am truly grateful that I have over 10 followers now -YEAH!
I just finished the first of two classes I'm taking this summer at home. The first one was all about technology use in the classroom. My head was spinning on that one. Now I am working on the second one called Differentiation and Grading - Making it Work.
Why do teachers think that summer break is the time to do EVERYTHING???? Projects, classes, blogs, curriculum, and common core....summer break???? I don't think so! But at least we don't have to fit in teaching into this mix!
Hi! I am your newest follower! I am a newbie blogger too! I can't really give much advice. The one thing that I can say is to get a button for your blog. If you google this it is pretty simple! I am blogging about your site tonight too!! Hope you get some new followers!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll check out my new "manly" blog!

Thank you Greg. I'm now a follower of my first "manly" blog! :)
DeleteJust found you via Tonya's blog. I have only been blogging for about 2 months, but my best advice is try not to let it overwhelm you. If you see something you like on other blogs but don't know how to do it, just ask those bloggers. They were once in your shoes, too.

Forgot my tip...For each blog post, try to post some kind of picture or graphic. It just draws more people to want to read it.

DeleteCongratulations on starting your own blog. I have been teaching for 28 years and am terrified of starting one. You inspire me! :) Keep up the good work! My blog suggestions: I always appreciate an occasional freebie and I LOVE photos of projects and what is going on in your classroom.

Thanks Sherry. As you can see, I am a 23 year veteran. I was so scared to try this, but the blogging community is sooooo helpful. It is a wonderful group to be a part of. Take the leap, there are so many people out there to help (including me)! And I will put a freebie on here as soon as I figure out how!
